Statwax Team Spotlight: Jennifer Junge, Developer

The Statwax Team are nothing if not creative problem solvers. It’s true whether they’re simply deciding on a lunch locale (why debate when you can make a poll or a randomized lunch selector), or tackling the latest and greatest digital platforms. Thanks to the energy in both our team and our industry, this results in a lot of cleverness and fun.

And we couldn’t talk about clever solutions without making a nod at our web developer, Jennifer Junge. Jen brings us an expert dev background bursting with best practices, infallible strategies, and thoughtful UX and design insight. Jen’s bright ideas and attitude are a huge asset to the Statwax culture. But don’t take our word for it, read our Team Spotlight Q & A and get to know Jen for yourself.

What helped you decide that you wanted to join the team at Statwax?

I really like the workload, the work function, and especially the people.

What makes you proud to work at Statwax?

I really think we are “as advertised”. When I interviewed, people really talk up their companies and exaggerate aspects of the job. Everything that Statwax said during the interview process has been true, so I’m proud to work somewhere I can trust. The benefits are real.

How does Statwax support your professional development?

They are awesome! I am continuing to work on my masters degree while working so they are flexible with time and everything else I need.

What are some of the ways that the Statwax office celebrates successes?

We celebrate success daily at the Statwax offices. They make a point to celebrate both the little successes as well as the big successes.

What do you think is the most important marketing lesson you’ve learned since working at Statwax?

Since this is my first time working at a marketing agency, I am beginning to really understand the way that paid search works and learning more about several important aspects of marketing.

What is your favorite thing about working in the Statwax office?

My co-workers. It’s so great actually being friends with coworkers outside of work and doing things together. For example we had a GoT viewing party and that was a lot of fun.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

When I’m not at work, you can find me hiking or baking!
