Statwax Team Spotlight: Amanda Gwidt, Client Experience Director

At Statwax our work is a balance of the data and analysis side of our brains and the relationship building and partnership side. We pride ourselves on not only delivering excellent work in a timely manner but also on the relationships we build with our clients and our team members to get that work done.

No one is better at building those relationships then our next Statwax team spotlight featured member Amanda Gwidt. Amanda is our client experience director, and in her role, she works to make sure that our teams collaborate together in order to get work done and that client project timelines and deliverables are strategically planned and created. Not only that, but she also gets to establish and foster amazing relationships with our clients, helping to serve as a great liaison between them and our internal teams. What makes you proud to work at Statwax?

I have a laundry list of items, but what that list really boils down to is my co-workers make me feel proud to work at Statwax. I feel blessed to work with a diverse, intelligent, hard-working group of individuals who inspire me each day. Our team fully supports not only our clients and their marketing needs but also our team members professionally and personally on a daily basis.

Why did you choose to work at a digital marketing agency that was focused in the education space?

I had experience working within the agency environment previously and always questioned why many agencies seem to be set up to promise a large number of services, across a huge array of verticals. In my experience, that broad focus usually resulted in a team being spread too thin and mediocre performance. When I sat down to interview with Statwax it was so refreshing to hear of an agency who had identified their specialty and chosen to focus their effort and resources in becoming a true thought leader in an industry space.  I knew after that first discussion that I would be lucky to work at an agency that doesn’t just fall in the “standard agency” bucket.

What qualities do you think sets Statwax apart from other digital marketing agencies?

Trust and transparency. We truly lean into earning our client’s trust and demonstrate transparency every chance we get. We pride ourselves on being our client’s digital marketing partner, not just a vendor.

How does Statwax support your professional development?

Whether it be any conference, training, or certificate you would like to attend or receive, just ask and you will have the support here at Statwax. Often I’m given the opportunity to get around a conference table with my team, enjoy lunch, and learn something new. Our management also encourages us to block time on our calendars to get out of the in-the weeds-client work and take time to develop ourselves.

What are some of the ways that the Statwax office celebrates successes?

One thing I really love about our Statwax team is how often we call out and celebrate both client and personal successes – we are always each other’s biggest cheerleaders. Whenever client goals are hit no matter how small or big, all members of the team are alerted on Slack- cue the best emoji and gif reactions!

What activities does Statwax offer to promote team building?

From fun team names to volunteering together or taking a few minutes out of our day for a game of PIG in the office, I love the frequent opportunities to connect with my team members outside of client work!

What is your favorite thing about working in the Statwax office?

My favorite thing about working at the Statwax office is the overall office culture. To me, Statwax office culture is the perfect mix of professional and personal support I look for in a work environment. Our team works very hard together and also plays hard together and I truly appreciate the great balance our office offers.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

My free time is all about my family. My husband Brent and I have an almost 2-year-old little boy named Ryder who keeps us very busy these days. We enjoy getting out into nature, with our golden retriever Milly, any chance we get and love getting into the NFL season. Go Pack go!
